Call of Duty World at War [Black Screen Fix]
Ok in our last “Possible black screen fix” we were able to get a few more people into the game but not everyone, So we have kept looking around and also trying to force some errors on our PC’s without luck tho.. Anyway here are a few more call of duty world at war black screen solutions (they are possible solutions) we are doing our best to help all you people who are unable to get call of duty world at war to start up correctly.
Firstly.. go into the folder were you installed call of duty world at war:
“Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty – World at War Beta\main\video\”
Delete the file called: “Treyarch.bik” this is a video file that is causing most of the lock up apon start up’s, worst comes to worst you can reinstall call of duty world at war later on, But this method is helping many people.
Other solutions as i mentioned are making sure all your drivers are up to date, make sure your directx is up to date, and most people who are using service pack #3 (SP3) for Windows XP are not having any trouble at all, most issues are occurring on vista & win xp sp1 & sp2.
Please note this is still BETA … beta is for testing and ironing out errors like these i know its frustrating but you are ensuring that come the retail version that all these errors & problems are fix, All games that are released go through the same phase and come out fine, The call of duty world at war beta caused so much hype that people think this is a call of duty world at war demo / cod 5 demo / call of duty 5 demo.. when it is a Call of Duty World at War BETA VERSION. Keep an eye on our site because soon as we have an official fix you will hear it here first. We have a feeling there is a new Beta version being released in the coming days that will address most of these issues.

Call of Duty World at War Demo [DirectX Error]
Ok we are getting a few messages regarding people receiving and error when trying to load up the call of duty world at war demo:(d3dx9_37.dll was not found)
This error is caused by missing directx files, or in our case and older version of the file has overwritten a newer file which is causing an incompatibility issue, To fix This problem you simply need to update your DirectX version.. You can update your DirectX by downloading & running this tool. This will solve your Call of Duty World at War error message when trying to start the pc demo.

[FIXED] Expired beta code
If you have ordered call of duty world at war or even pre ordered call of duty world at war and you have been issued a call of duty world at war beta key and received an error message like this:
- Invalid Code
– Expired Key Code
- Invalid token
You might want to try again, there were some Call of Duty World at War bugs in the Xbox beta / demo that were causing a few headaches this issues have now been sorted out, and people are reporting that the beta code is now working fine, and that they were able to download call of duty world at war / download call of duty 5 / download COD5.

Call of Duty World at War Xbox beta update
Well after many complaints & forums discussions about why the beta version was handicapped so much, Treyarch & Activision have listened and are now raising the call of duty 5 / call of duty world at war / cod5 / codwaw capped levels from level 11 to level 24 & are also unlocking some new features & game modes.
- Raise the level cap to 24 (new weapons, perks, and challenges)
- Introduce some Hardcore playlists
- Add a Search & Destroy playlist

Call of duty world at war has only a few weeks before it ships, It is very important for you guys to pre order and be involved in the beta testing so that all known issues can be ironed out before the official launch. Punkbuster confirmed for call of duty world at war
After some recent rumors floating about, we thought we would put this to rest pretty quickly. Call of duty world at war will 110% use Punkbuster as its primary Anti-Cheat system. Alot of call of duty fans were calling for punkbuster not to be included and for some other companies to step in and take control.

Now as Activision closed this site down and now just redirects you back to the the official call of duty website, This is going to cause a little bit of a stir as i personally signed up with that site a long time ago and stuffed if i can recall my username & password. BETA NEWS **UPDATE** call of duty world at war beta…
You may recall a few days ago we posted an article on call of duty wolrd at war beta being released, some people had been sent a beta token code & download link, now this download link was not working, after i spoke with you different people from GameStop i got 2 diffenrent stories (Caused quite a fuss on our end) Anyhow, Today i got a reply from GameStop this is all i can quite from the email as the rest is unrelated.

Now to me that sounds like someone has been told to keep his/her mouth shut but actually knows whats going on & knowing that the people over at GameStop are such good people im sure they are bursting to tell us whats really going on but are not in a position to do so, Thats ok.
Well it could have been worse they could of confirmed the call of duty world at war beta had been canceled.
So From the sounds of things this is simply the calm before the storm, well lets hope so. I am now thinking that as reported to us a long time ago that the magical call of duty world at war beta will be released on the 1/10/08.
Well thats all the call of duty 5 info we have for you now, But a delayed beta is annoying but for us (The Gamer) we should not complain as im sure they were just fixing up a few call of duty world at war monsters.
