Firstly go back up your config file now before you even read on..

OK done that ? well now head over to http://bashandslash.com/ they have provided a full tutorial so you can edit your config & other files. CallofDuty5.TV hold no responsability for your actions we can only advise you to back up firstly before attempting to modify any files. So far treyarch have not said you cant edit these files and are not considered “Call of Duty World at War Hacks” that said im sure someone will call out hack if you mention you have modified files. You do however need to sign up to be granted access to these, but with the amount of Mods that call of duty 5 had these tools will be very popular, I highly recommend checking out these tools. We will post some tutorials of our own in a few weeks once we work out how the new ones work.

This tool will enable you to backup your profile incase of the Activision master servers failing. There was some reported down time over the last few days, everything seems back on track but just in case it happens again it would be wise to backup your profile.

Now i have a feeling this patch will also patch other call of duty world at war known problems, but im sure Activision & Treyarch wont admit to this. On one hand its good to see that Activision & Treyarch have addressed a few problems so quickly, But again this game will go down the same path “We will get our money now & Patch it later” as many other games.

This is however good news as this call of duty world at war patch will solve a lot of problems that have been spoken about for the last few weeks, This will be the first of many call of duty world at war patches but at least they are doing what they can. So if your copy of call of duty world at war turns up & you try to have a game and you cant see anyone else in the servers, Remember to patch the game first.
